From 1 August, the Mayor of Moscow has allowed organisation of mass events at the venues with capacity of up to 3,000 seats, provided that no more than 50% capacity is used. Link to the decree of the Mayor of Moscow (in Russian)

In accordance with this decree, the Radisson Slavyanskaya Business Center has confirmed meeting venue for MINEX Russia 2020 Forum and Exhibition on 7-8 October. The Forum will be held in accordance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection at congress and exhibition events.

You can view the requirements (in Russian) on the Rospotrebnadzor website. The Organising Committee of the Forum will take all the necessary measures to ensure the safety of the forum participants and exhibition visitors.

The forum and the exhibition will be organised in a hybrid format, which allows broadcasting forum sessions to remote participants, as well as mixing speaker presentations participating in the forum physically and online. The simultaneous translation system will help in-person and online participants to listen to the simultaneous translation of the presentations and ask speakers questions in real time. We will offer a mobile application to organise communications between all participants participating in-person and virtually. In the application, participants can access the list of participants, create a chat, send an invitation to a meeting, add a meeting to a personal calendar and hold a meeting either at exhibition booth or in a private virtual room. Each exhibitor participating in the exhibition will have a “digital twin booth” to organise demonstrations of projects, products, and services for virtual visitors.

2020 taught us all not to plan too far ahead and to accept that nothing is 100% certain. However, at present, all indicators demonstrate relaxation of the previously announced quarantine measures and lifting of previously imposed bans. Ticket sales for public events, concerts, performances and entertainment programs have resumed in Moscow. Several major event organisers have officially announced hosting of major conferences and exhibitions in Moscow this autumn. For example, the Roscongress Foundation will host the Russian Energy Week from 13 to 16 October 2020 at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall located next to Kremlin.

In the event that the epidemiological situation worsens, and a ban on holding the conference and exhibition in physical format is announced, the MINEX forum will be held online. The organisers guarantee to refund the difference in the cost of participation in physical and virtual event.

We look forward to greeting you at MINEX Russia 2020
