Irina Tretiakova graduated from the geological and geophysical faculty of the Novosibirsk State University in 2007. In 2011 she defended her thesis on cobalt deposits. Took part in research projects at Macquarie University (Sydney) and the University of Western Australia (Perth).
Since 2017, he has been the Deputy Head of the Department of International Collaboration at the FSBE "TsNIGRI", participates in research projects in the field of geology of nickel and cobalt deposits.
