Alexander Lopatnikov was among the international experts who developed standards for the valuation in the extractive industries for the International Valuation Committee (IVSC).
He is a Deputy Head of the Economics Section of the Society of Subsoil Use Experts of Russia (OERN), prepared reports for international arbitration LCIA and acted as a competent valuer according to for the Hong Kong stock exchange listing rules for mining companies.
Alexander Lopatnikov authored more than 30 publications including those on the measurement of value and risk analysis of the projects in the extractive industries. He teaches a course on value-based management at the MBA school of the State University of Management.
