The 16th Mining and Exploration Forum MINEX Russia was held in Moscow on 6-8 October 2020. Over 120 Russian and International speakers and panelists presented at the Forum. The list of speakers is available via this link. All delegates, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, and media partners can access the materials via their personal accounts. The materials include video recordings and slides presented at the masterclasses, plenary and technical sessions of the forum. The publication also includes a video recording of the innovative technologies presented at the MineDigital competition. Participants of associated events and visitors of the exhibition who did not pay the registration fee can purchase access to the materials by filling out an order form using the link.
MINEX Russia was incepted in 2005. Over the years it has become one of the largest and most significant mining events in the country. Organised in 2019 the Forum brought together over 800 participants and 180 speakers. Over 90 companies exhibited at the trade show which attracted over 1000 visitors.
MINEX Russia Forum provides opportunities for presentation and discussion of key trends, projects and technologies in the mining and geological industry in Russia and overseas. The forum, which took place in October 2019, featured over 180 presentations and panel contributions.
The 16th Mining and Exploration Forum MINEX Russia was held in Moscow from 6 to 8 October. Reflecting current realities, the forum was held under the central theme «Russian Mining Industry – Unprecedented Challenges and Solutions».
The Forum was organised amid an unprecedented global pandemic that quickly changed the entire world. Profound changes have affected almost all areas of mining and metallurgical industries. In a very short period, the industry had to rebuild production processes and introduce mechanisms to ensure the safety of the health of personnel and the efficiency of enterprise management. These changes and innovative approaches to solving these challenges were widely discussed during the forum.

The 2nd Conference “Mining Goes Digital”, organised on 8 October alongside MINEX Russia Forum, will offer opportunities for discussing trends in the digitalisation of the mining industry and also showcase successful examples and breakthrough technologies that helped mining companies to be smarter and more efficient.
MINEX Russia Forum facilitates extensive opportunities for meeting key decision makers in the Russian mining industry. The exhibition will be held in Moscow alongside MINEX Russia 2020 Forum on 7 and 8 October. Last year the exhibition attracted over 1,000 specialists from Russian and international companies.

The Russian Mining Excellence Award competition established by the MINEX forum in 2007 is the premier competition open to national and international companies operating in mining & exploration sector in Russia. The award’s independent committee consisting of the group of seasoned mining professionals helps to access proposed nominations and determine the most outstanding achievements and projects.
The MineMovie Festival is an international competition of short documentary films about companies and people working in the mining, geological and metallurgical industries in Russia and the CIS countries. The content and themes of films may include all elements related to the mining industry e.g. geological exploration, mining and mineral processing, innovative technologies, environmental protection, etc.
The competition of Industry 4.0 solutions for the geological and mining industries held at the Forum will provide a platform for the presentation of the innovations in the field of digitisation, automation and robotisation in the mining industry. The competition is open for the developers of software, automation, robotisation, AI and data processing technologies.
The objective of the competition is to provide a platform for an independent evaluation of early-stage and developing mining projects and to discuss opportunities for their accelerated implementation with the assistance from investors and financial backers. The competition is open to subsoil users, prospecting artels, and individual entrepreneurs developing mining projects in the Russian Federation.
